Due to the growth of our business, we are looking for a Trainee Graphic Designer to join the team in Townsville.
POSITION DETAILS
Position: Trainee Graphic Designer
Status: Full-time
Start: Immediate
Probation period: 3 months
Location: 6 Ingham Road, West End, Townsville, QLD 4810
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Design:
- Learn and develop garment/kit design skills on CorelDraw
- Assist with creating and adjusting artwork for custom team apparel
- Support the team with print-ready file preparation
- Assist with website and pattern design.Â
- Support the team with business cards etcÂ
Customer Service:
- Help organise pickup orders
- Receive phone calls
General:
- Contribute to a friendly team environment
- Develop great working relationships with peers
- Communicate with supervisor daily regarding progress and status of design jobs
- Communicate with logistics manager in head office
The ideal candidate will have:
- Intermediate level computer experience (professional graphic design experience not required)
- An interest in sports design
- An eye for detail and creativity
- Neat and tidy workspace
- Willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and pride in work
- Driver's licence
