Kedron Wavell Cougars 2025 Round 3 Update

The 2025 Ruby Series is off to a flying start for the Ruby Series Cougars, and heading into Round Three, there’s a real sense of momentum building. With two strong wins under their belt, the Cougars are showing they mean business this season, and we couldn’t be prouder to be on the journey with them.
At EV2 Sportswear, we’re incredibly proud to be part of their 2025 campaign as the official apparel partner. Watching the team step out on court in their EV2 kit is a special moment for us and a visual reminder of the power of sport and community.
Round 1: Cougars 57 def. Bullsharks 45
In their season opener, the Cougars came out firing, securing a dominant 57–45 victory over the Bullsharks. From start to finish, the team brought high energy, smart connections, and relentless pressure across the court.
Round 2: Cougars 57 def. Wildcats 56
It was a nail-biter in Round Two against the Wildcats, with the Cougars digging deep to clinch a thrilling one-goal win, 57–56. The composure and resilience under pressure were nothing short of inspiring, showcasing the team’s mental toughness and unity. This win leaves them 2nd on the ladder, two games in!
As they prepare for Round Three against the Sunshine Coast Thunder at Nissan Arena, the Cougars remain focused and hungry to keep building. Their hard work at training, trust in each other, and determination on the court are what make this group so exciting to watch and so deserving of their success.
The Cougars’ Sapphire Series team starts their first game on June 8th at the Nissan Arena.
