Atlantic Youth Touch Cup Heads to Limerick

This weekend, the vibrant city of Limerick, Ireland, will play host to one of the most exciting youth touch football events on the international calendar — the 2025 Atlantic Youth Touch Cup. At EV2 Sportswear, we’re proud to support this growing event through our UK office, supplying on-field kit for the England Touch team as they compete among the world's best young athletes.
A Growing Celebration of Youth Touch Football
Now in its second year, the Atlantic Youth Touch Cup has grown remarkably since its inaugural tournament in Nottingham in 2023. That first event brought together 32 teams from 10 nations across 7 competition categories. Fast-forward to 2025, and we’re looking at a powerful new benchmark: 45 teams from 12 nations, battling it out in 9 categories over the under-15, under-18, and under-20 age groups.
Each age group will feature men’s, women’s, and mixed divisions, bringing a dynamic range of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship to the field.
A Truly Global Gathering
With teams travelling from as far afield as China, South Africa, and the Cayman Islands, the tournament reflects the truly global growth of youth touch football. We're also witnessing a historic moment for some nations:
- Ukraine will compete in their first-ever international touch tournament,
- Portugal makes their debut in a Federation of International Touch (FIT) youth event,
- And for the first time, both boys’ and girls’ under-15s divisions will feature in the competition.
