BMD and Hostplus Cup 2025 Finals are Almost Here

With just two weeks left in the regular season, the stage is set for an exciting run home in both the Hostplus Cup and the BMD Premiership. Let’s take a look at how our teams are tracking in 2025.
BMD Premiership
With the shorter women’s season, every game counts – and the intensity has lifted as finals approach. The ladder currently looks like this:
Pride- 4th
Devils- 5th
Clydesdales- 6th
WM Seagulls- 11th
Capras- 12th
Heading into week 9 of 11, the final rounds are critical. The Pride, Devils, and Clydesdales remain in contention and will be fighting hard to secure a place in the top four.

Hostplus CupÂ
With six EV2 teams competing, the men’s competition has been just as fierce. After Week 21, here’s where they sit:
Devils- 1st
Blackhawks- 2nd
WM Seagulls- 4th
Capras- 13th
Pride- 14th
Clydesdales- 15th
The top end of the ladder is tightly contested, while the lower-placed EV2 sides are looking to finish their seasons strongly as we await semi-final confirmations.

Grand Final Details
The biggest day of the season has been locked in, and it promises to be a huge event:
27th September at Kayo StadiumÂ
10 am: Gates open
10:10 am: XXXX City v Country women
Noon: XXXX City vs Country men
2 pm: BMD Premiership Grand Final
4 pm: Hostplus Cup Grand Final

General admission: $10 for Juniors and $25 for adults

Both Grand Finals will be broadcast exclusively on Fox League and Kayo. The city v country games will be streamed live and free through Qplus.tv
